This build up practices encourages a midfield 3 to keep a well structured shape to allow for smooth progression.
The midfield 3 must all occupy different grids and must use quick movements and rotations in order to receive the ball and progress it into the attacker.
If any of the defenders will possession, they can counter attack into the main goal with the defenders who begin the practice unopposed entering live play.
