Half Pitch

This pre-season practice takes place in a full half of a pitch and focuses on developing players speed endurance and quick combinations. Players are split into two teams of 5 outfielders and a goalkeeper. Each player must go through the circuit by playing quick one-two combinations, sprinting with the ball and spreading the ball wide with each turn ending with a cross into the box for players to attack in a 1 v 1 situation. Ensure players are working at a high intensity for 3-5 minutes before switching the players and goalkeepers out.
