This pre-season relay practice takes place in a 20 by 20 yard area and focuses on developing players short sprints, acceleration and agility for the upcoming season. Players are split into 3 teams with each having a circuit including an end pole, cones and hurdles. On the coaches whistle the first players will sprint with cone in hand to the pole where they will place their cones. They will then pick up the next cone, before performing quick feet through the hurdles. Players will then sprint back to their teammates to hand them their cone and this will continue until all the players have returned to the team. The team with all their players back first is the winner!
