In this attacking practice, play starts with a dribble forward from the deepest attacking player. From the initial dribble, the ball carrier will pass to either of the wide players, at which point a 4v3 attack will begin.


To ensure the attacking team maintain an attacking overload, the initial ball carrier is encouraged to take on the role of a midfield runner and attempt to create space for themselves inside the box or create space for others with a mixture of clever runs and movements.
