France Finishing Inside Box

This practice takes place in a 30 by 40-yard area and focuses on developing finishing from different positions in the box. We setup by placing three mannequins as shown in the session image and splitting players into two groups of three players. One player will work at a time in this competition. To begin, the coach will pass to the player who comes short to receive and bounces it back. They will then run backwards and receive a pass on the outside of the mannequin, drive forward and finish past the goalkeeper. After the finish, they must sprint back and between the two mannequins before receiving a pass from their outside teammate which they must finish on one touch. After each player has had their two shots, the team with the most goals wins.
