Left Page: Session Setup & Early Practices

Date & Topic
Record when the session takes place and what the focus is (e.g. Counter-attacking, Playing Out from the Back, etc.). -
Session Objectives
Outline what you want your players to achieve by the end of the session. These should be measurable goals, such as improving transitions, increasing tempo, or developing pressing triggers. -
Warm-Up
Use the pitch diagram to sketch your warm-up layout. Write the name of your practice & some coaching points for the practice. In the “Practice Notes” box, add a quick description for how the pratice is set up, how it runs & rules. -
P1 (Practice 1)
Label your first main practice (e.g. Passing Combinations into Finishing).
Use the diagram and notes area to plan your setup, rules, and progressions.

These sections are for your later practices which will likely include a practice for your main focus and a small sided game at the end

Session Rating (1–10)
Give the session a quick rating out of 10 based on player engagement, execution of objectives, and overall success.
