Practice Breakdown:

This drill is designed for strikers to develop their finishing ability while also improving fitness. The player will run continuously from one end of the pitch to the other, finishing unopposed into two separate goals. This repetitive movement focuses on maintaining sharpness and accuracy under fatigue.
• Focus on Controlled First Touch to Set Up Each Finish – Use a precise first touch to prepare for an effective and balanced shot on goal.
• Vary Finishing Techniques Between Both Feet and Different Angles – Practice using both feet and adjust body positioning to score from various approaches.
• Maintain High Intensity and Sprint Recovery Throughout the Drill – Push physical limits while ensuring quality is not sacrificed during finishes.
• Concentrate on Quick Transitions Between Finishes and Sprints – Efficiently recover and prepare mentally for the next scoring opportunity.
Increase Pace of Repetitions and Reduce Rest Intervals
